Happy New Year! From Our Team To You:

Happy New Year from Cloud Campaign to You!

Rounding out this year, I thought it might be fun to try and describe 2020 in one word. Initially, the words that came to mind were “unexpected”… “rollercoaster”… “turbulent”… but when I took a step back I realized that, while of course this year had heartache, I actually feel more grateful than I did at the start.

Firstly, I’m grateful for my family. I’m grateful for the people that I get to work with and spend time with every day (if even over zoom). And I’m grateful for everything that I have; work that I love, a roof over my head, and a new-found love of baking bread - which, by the way is still pretty terrible despite months and months of trying! Sure, there are aspects of 2020 that should be "cancelled", but there are also many memories from this year that I’ll look back on and smile. I’m not just talking about binge watching Tiger King, either. This year has shown me that I’m capable of going through a lot, and has shown me just how amazing my support network truly is. I hope the same is true for you.

So, while I wanted to label this past year as an "unexpected, turbulent rollercoaster", my word of choice has to be “grateful”.

Looking ahead to 2021, I thought it would be fun to check in with the Cloud Campaign team to see what resolutions they have for the 12 months ahead. As is tradition, I asked them to share a resolution that they think they will keep, and a resolution that they will make that they likely will break.

Our Resolutions for 2021:

As for Ryan, he plans to re-learn chess and limit his coffee intake to only 2 cups per day. Learning chess is a resolution that he thinks he can stick to. But as for the coffee intake, he’s less optimistic there!

Ross plans to exercise at least 5x a week and thinks this resolution will stick. On the other hand, remember last year when Ross said he’d meditate for at least 20 minutes per day? Well, that was a little too ambitious but he’s planning to have a second swing at this one in 2021. We believe in you, Ross!

As for the rest of the team: we have plans to get outside more, read more books, learn new languages, workout, and improve our cooking skills! We’re feeling pretty good about keeping these, so what about the things we'll try to keep but probably won't?

Well, we’re not optimistic about giving up junk food, (a recurring theme amongst several Cloud Campaigners). And getting out of bed at the sound of the first alarm is much easier said than done… Heck, we’re going to try though!

As we round out this holiday season and look forward to 2021, we’re all feeling pretty optimistic. We’re optimistic that we will get to see each other in person safely again; we’re optimistic that global health will take a turn for the better; and we’re optimistic that we’ll continue to launch a ton of awesome product updates for our customers.

In the same way that we look back on 2020 gratefully for what it taught us, we can’t wait to do the same in 2021.

Happy New Year, from all of us at Cloud Campaign. We’ll catch you on the other side!
